The system synchronizes daily with the **Research Organization Registry (ROR)**. This provides us with a globally unique PID (Persistent Identifier) for every higher education institution on Earth.

## 2. Temporal Metadata
Every node in the SAG contains:
*   `EST_DATE`: The verified founding date.
*   `ACC_HISTORY`: Historical accreditation status.
*   `GEO_COORD`: Precise geospatial bounds.
