Carefully read this syllabus and take the syllabus quiz. The syllabus contains important \ninformation about the course, so it is imperative you read through it before the quarter \nbegins. After you carefully review the syllabus, you must take the syllabus quiz on Carmen \nduring the first week of class. You have until Saturday, Sept. 1 at 10pm to complete this quiz. \nThe syllabus quiz is worth ten points and is weighted slightly less than a weekly Carmen \nquiz. Note: You must complete two quizzes on CARMEN by the end of the first week of \nclass \u2013 the syllabus quiz and the first reading quiz. \n \n2. Do the reading and listen to lectures: To start off the week, you should read the assigned \nchapter(s) for that week.
