This CSV file contains classification labels for a set of Facebook posts identified by their PostId. Each post is annotated with a communication category using the text-davinci-002 model by OpenAI (chatgpt column), and independently labeled by three human researchers (ricercatore1, ricercatore2, ricercatore3 columns).
The labels refer to eight categories of public communication, based on the typology proposed by Ducci & Lovari (2022).
Please note that the actual content of the Facebook posts is not included in this file due to Meta’s content policies. Raw textual data may be available upon request to the authors.
This Python script performs fine-tuning of the dbmdz/bert-base-italian-cased model for classifying social media posts into eight categories of public communication, as defined in Ducci G., Lovari A. (2022), “L’evoluzione della cultura della comunicazione pubblica in Italia”, in Orizzonti Mediterranei, edited by Paltrinieri R., Spillare S., Tardivo G., Franco Angeli, pp. 17–32.
