# PixelLift optional models

This repository hosts optional, on-device models for **PixelLift**. PixelLift downloads a model only after the device owner explicitly requests it. The application does not upload, transmit, or retain a user's source image in this repository.

## Real-ESRGAN x4plus — photographic mode

`models/real_esrgan_x4plus_f32.tflite` is the float32 TFLite export of Qualcomm AI Hub's `Real-ESRGAN-x4plus` release `v0.60.0`. It accepts `1×128×128×3` float32 tiles in the `[0, 1]` range and produces `1×512×512×3` float32 tiles, for 4× super-resolution.

The model is intended as an optional photographic-quality choice. It is substantially larger and may run more slowly than PixelLift's bundled `general-x4v3` model, especially on lower-end Android phones.

The manifest is the canonical source of the filename, version, expected byte size, and SHA-256 checksum used by PixelLift before activating a downloaded model.
