⚠️ **Warning:** AI computations put maximum load on your GPU. Ensure adequate cooling!

## 🛠 How to Start

1. **Download:** Download the `Silver_Screen_Lab_v1.zip` (21.6 GB) from the "Files and versions" tab above.
2. **Unpack:** Extract the folder to your local drive (`C:\` or `D:\`) or an external SSD.
   - ⚠️ Avoid long paths like `C:\Users\...\Desktop\...\Downloads\` (Windows path length limit!)
3. **Launch:** Double-click `START_LAB.bat` to start the studio.
4. **Trial:** Generate **3 images for free** to test compatibility.
5. **Activate:** Purchase a license key to unlock unlimited generations.

ℹ️ The download package is large because it contains all required AI models and dependencies for **fully offline operation**.

1. Launch the app and click **"TRIAL MODE"** (top right).
2. Copy your **Hardware ID (HWID)** from the license dialog.

## 🔄 Adding Additional Models

Silver Screen Lab supports additional **SDXL checkpoints**.

To add new models:

1. Download a compatible checkpoint (.safetensors).
2. Place it into the folder:

`ComfyUI/models/checkpoints/`

3. Restart Silver Screen Lab.

The new model will automatically appear in the **"AI Model (Checkpoint)" dropdown** in the interface.
