Evaluation of the Ithaca and Aeneas baselines uses DeepMind's released code, obtained
separately from their repositories (not vendored here): the Ithaca codebase
from DeepMind:

Ithaca (Assael, Sommerschield, Shillingford, Bordbar, Pavlopoulos, Chatzipanagiotou,
Androutsopoulos, Prag & de Freitas, "Restoring and attributing ancient texts using deep
neural networks", Nature 2022) is used purely as a reference baseline that this project's
own inscription-restoration evaluation code (`insc/eval/`) compares against. No code from
Ithaca has been copied into this repository's source tree; the baseline harness expects a
separately downloaded checkout (see `scripts/slurm/insc_ithaca_gpu.sbatch`), which retains
its own LICENSE.
