| Subject: [Ann] AdvSys for Mac, Again | |
| Please read the ReadMe file | |
| I didn't rewrite the C file access routines so the Mac | |
| dialog only returns a file name. For the file to be opened | |
| by the program, both the interpreter AND the gamefile must | |
| be in the same directory. | |
| (This also applies to the compiler and source text files) | |
| I shipped the archive with the games and binaries in | |
| separate directories so you could choose which binary to use. | |
| Move the interpreter to the games directory and it will work fine. | |
| Let me know If I need to be clearer in the read me file. | |
| Also, at the very end of the program, you are given an option to | |
| quit, print, or cancel. This is left in place to give you an | |
| chance to print the text of the current window. If you do not | |
| want to print, select quit. If you slect cancel, the the shell | |
| continues to run even though the program has quit. To close the | |
| application, simple select it, and then select quit in the menu options | |
| or type <command Q> | |
| Finally, A very small ?Bug? | |
| The PPC interpreter is not displaying it's icon. To fix this, change its | |
| (or it's, I don't care) creator to 'mIFE' instead of 'mIFL'. All creator | |
| references in the read me should be changed to 'mIFE'. | |
| The icons were borrowed from a project I am working on. | |
| 'mIFE' stands for my IF Enviroment | |
| 'mIFL' stands for my IF Language | |
| 'mIFb' stands for mIF binary | |
| 'mIFs' stands for mIF save | |
| --< more to come>-- | |
