Summary:
This sample shows that query if storage of given schemas exists in a document using the ExtensibleStorageFilter as well as how to delete it.
Classes:
StorageUtility provides all methods to query and delete, and display extensible storage.
Project Files:
DeleteStorage.cs -- contains the command class to delete all storage.
QueryStorage.cs contains the command class to query all storage.
Utility.cs provides all methods to query and delete, and display extensible storage.
Description:
This sample uses the Schema and ExtensibleStorageFilter classes to get all elements that contain extensible storage and organize them by schema type and delete them.
Instructions:
1.
Start Revit, and open a document that contains extensible storage data.
2.
Select the
Query Storage
command. Note the output of schema guids and ElementIds of elements containing extensible storage.
3.
Select the
Delete Storage
command. Select the
Query Storage
command again and note that no storage is present.
