# RubaTone AI Local
RubaTone AI Local is the offline Windows edition of RubaTone AI, accompanied
by an Android remote-control client. This repository contains release
artifacts only and intentionally contains no application source code.
## Windows
- Windows 11 x64
- NVIDIA RTX 40/50 series
- At least 12 GB VRAM
- The Launcher downloads and verifies the selected runtime once. After a
complete installation, the main application can run without Internet
access.
- RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB with NVIDIA driver 596.36 is the currently verified
hardware configuration. Other listed RTX 40/50 models have not yet been
verified on physical hardware.
Download `RubaTone-AI-Local-Launcher-Setup.exe` to install Windows Launcher
1.0.9. On NTFS it reuses byte-identical files from the current verified
installation with hard links. On exFAT it transactionally backs up and replaces
only changed files, automatically restoring them if commit or first launch
fails. A patch therefore reserves and downloads only changed files and missing
chunks instead of requiring space for two complete runtimes. It also keeps up to four bounded
Range downloads active while immediately
verifying completed volumes and reconstructing files whose chunks are ready.
Each phase reports the correct amount, throughput, and ETA instead of showing
download speed while only the disk is active. On startup it also searches the
saved and common installation locations for a valid existing RubaTone AI Local
runtime before offering a new download. Application 1.0.5 fixes the Windows
background/exit actions, same-LAN Android discovery and mDNS startup, and native
downloads of processed audio and ZIP files while preserving their real
filenames. Signed release manifests are read from this repository.
## Android

- The APK is a remote client and must be paired with a Windows computer on
the same private network. Without a reachable paired computer, only the
home page is available.
Download `RubaTone-AI-Local-1.0.3-arm64-release.apk` for Android. Version 1.0.3
fixes Local command permissions, pairing-state feedback, and reachable-address
selection when the computer has VPN or virtual network adapters.
## Local-data policy
No songs, models, training data, job history, preferences, or account
database from the cloud service are included or migrated. The Local edition
has no account UI and does not include the Convert MIDI/MuScriptor feature.
## Integrity
Before installation, compare downloaded files with `SHA256SUMS.json`. The
Launcher additionally verifies signed release manifests and every downloaded
runtime volume before activating a version.
This build is provided for private, non-commercial evaluation among the
developer's friends. Third-party notices are included in the installed
package.
