# Category Classifier

This model predicts the categories associated with the products present on Open Food Facts, using Open Food Facts category taxonomy.

More than one category can be predicted for a product (multi-label classification).

This category classification model was trained on the v4 Data For Good 2022 category dataset using code in [this version of the off-category-classification repository](https://github.com/openfoodfacts/off-category-classification/tree/b4edda2007455348c23c29e109520e64a9d54d63).
Training was [tracked on Wandb](https://wandb.ai/raphaeloff/product-categorization/runs/kvb8pebb/overview?workspace=user-raphaeloff).

This model was migrated from this [robotoff-models release](https://github.com/openfoodfacts/robotoff-models/releases/tag/keras-category-classifier-image-embeddings-3.0).
