Extensive evaluations show that UniAudio-Token learns comprehensive universal representations while preserving high-fidelity speech generation. When integrated with downstream LLMs, it outperforms all single-codebook baseline tokenizers on both understanding and generation tasks, effectively serving as a unified audio interface.
