# DEFINITION_OF_DONE.md

A task is done only if all conditions are met:

- Goal understood.
- Non-goals respected.
- Existing code searched.
- Reuse / modify / build / stop decision documented.
- Scope respected.
- Tests added or justification written.
- Tests run or impossibility explained.
- No secret committed or exposed.
- No data leakage.
- Task report written.
- `PROJECT_STATE.md` updated.
- Next recommended task indicated.

If one item is missing, the task is not done. It may be moved to `review` with explicit gaps, but not to `done`.
