# AILab@TUL - Artificial Intelligence Lab at Technical University of Liberec

## About Us
The Artificial Intelligence Lab (AILab) focuses on research and development in **speech, text, and image processing** using advanced machine learning techniques. Established in 1994 by Prof. Ing. Jan Nouza, CSc., our lab has been a pioneer in AI technologies in the Czech Republic.

### Key Areas of Research
- **Speech Processing:**  
  - Automatic transcription of speech.  
  - Speaker diarization and language identification from audio signals.  

- **Text Processing:**  
  - Pre-trained language models for punctuation restoration, capitalization, and text anonymization.  

- **Image Processing:**  
  - Object and person detection.
