Founded in 2017, APMIC (Accelerate Private Machine Intelligence Company) is a pioneer in Taiwan specializing in large language models (LLMs) and enterprise-grade private AI solutions. We focus on natural language understanding (NLU) technologies, helping organizations quickly build their own intelligent knowledge systems - without writing code - enabling smart data utilization and secure private deployment.

## Our Story
### Where It All Began
The journey of APMIC began in 2017, when [Jerry Wu](https://huggingface.co/JerryWu), founder and CEO of the company and a lecturer in the Department of Information Management at NTUST, invited several tech-savvy students in his class to start a business together. Driven by the same passion for natural language understanding (NLU), the team conducted market research and collected participant feedback, which prompted a pivot toward their mission of enabling AI to effectively interpret human language. Since then, the team has developed its own large language model (LLM). APMIC has since emerged as a frontrunner in the field of AI, committed to driving technological progress, exploring innovative possibilities, and redefining traditional frameworks.
