He who shall draw\n", "As the wise tortoise draws its four feet safe\n", "Under its shield, his five frail senses back\n", "Under the spirit's buckler from the world\n", "Which else assails them, such an one, my Prince!\n", "Hath wisdom's mark! Things that solicit sense\n", "Hold off from the self-governed; nay, it comes,\n", "The appetites of him who lives beyond\n", "Depart,--aroused no more. Yet may it chance,\n", "O Son of Kunti! that a governed mind\n", "Shall some time feel the sense-storms sweep, and wrest\n", "Strong self-control by the roots. Let him regain\n", "His kingdom! let him conquer this, and sit\n", "On Me intent. That man alone is wise\n", "Who keeps the mastery of himself!
