### 🍽️ Souslab — US Restaurant Menus

A normalized, programmatic dataset of US restaurant menus. 449K restaurants, 44.3M menu items, refreshed continuously, with chain-level aggregation and documented methodology.

The sample dataset is free for research and non-commercial use. The full dataset is available via the Souslab API.

## Who we are

Any Stack Labs is a small team building data products that take years of structured collection and normalization to do well. Our background is in e-commerce infrastructure, restaurant data systems, and AI-powered SaaS — including MenuPortal, a menu-management platform that's processed data for 800K+ restaurants over the past decade.

We focus on data products that:

- Have a clear, narrow domain we can do better than anyone else
- Are documented end-to-end (collection, normalization, refresh, gaps)
- Are usable for both AI training and traditional analytics, with appropriate licensing for each

## Licensing

All datasets published here under the `AnyStackLabsdev` org are released under the licenses specified on each dataset card. Free tier is typically CC-BY-NC-4.0 — free for research and non-commercial use with attribution. Commercial use, including AI training and product deployment, requires a commercial license from Any Stack Labs.
