# Wolof Text-to-Speech by Baamtu
This Gradio app provides an interface for a Wolof language Text-to-Speech API developed by Baamtu. Users can generate speech from Wolof text with different voice configurations.

## Features
- Streaming Mode: Generate and play audio directly in the browser
- Storage Mode: Generate audio and store it in S3 for later access
- Voice customization through descriptive prompts

## Usage
- Enter the text you want to convert to speech (in Wolof)
- Provide your authentication token
- Customize the voice description if desired
- Click "Generate Audio" or "Generate & Store in S3"

## API Connection
This app connects to a remote API endpoint for processing. The API status is checked when the app loads.
Note: The app requires a running instance of the Baamtu TTS API to function correctly.
