# FastAPI + React E2E Verification Project

## Overview

This project demonstrates a full‑stack Todo application built with FastAPI (backend) and React (frontend). End‑to‑end tests are written using Playwright.

## Prerequisites

- Docker & Docker Compose
- Node.js (for local development without Docker)
- Python 3.11

## Running with Docker

```sh
docker compose up --build
```

- Backend API: http://localhost:8000
- Frontend: http://localhost:5173

## Running locally

### Backend

```sh
cd backend
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
uvicorn main:app --reload
```

### Frontend

```sh
cd frontend
npm install
npm run dev
```

### E2E Tests

```sh
cd frontend
npm run test:e2e
```

The tests assume the frontend is running at http://localhost:5173.
