# MamaCare — Maternal Health Risk Advisor

Enter a patient's six vitals (age, blood pressure, blood sugar, body temperature, heart
rate). A trained Gradient Boosting model predicts a maternal health risk level, and an
LLM (Groq, `llama-3.3-70b-versatile`) turns the numbers into warm, practical advice.

Built as a teaching project for 3MTT students. **Educational tool only — it does not
replace antenatal care from a qualified health provider.**

## Run locally

```bash
pip install -r requirements.txt
python app.py
```

Requires a `GROQ_API_KEY` (free at [console.groq.com](https://console.groq.com)) in a
local `.env` file, or as a Space secret when deployed.
