# 🚀 Quick Start Guide

## Running the HITL Drug Discovery Application

### Option 1: Easy Launcher (Recommended)
```bash
python run.py
```

### Option 2: Direct Launch
```bash
# Activate virtual environment
source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: venv\Scripts\activate

# Run the application
python app.py
```

### Option 3: Legacy Version (Backup)
```bash
# Activate virtual environment
source venv/bin/activate

# Run legacy version
python legacy/app_legacy.py
```

## 🌐 Access the Application

Once running, open your browser and go to:
**http://localhost:7860**

## 🛑 Stop the Application

Press `Ctrl+C` in the terminal to stop the application.

## 📁 Project Structure

- **`app.py`** - Main entry point (works for both local and Hugging Face Spaces)
- **`run.py`** - Easy launcher script
- **`src/`** - Modular source code
- **`legacy/`** - Legacy monolithic version (backup)
- **`venv/`** - Virtual environment

## 🔧 Troubleshooting

### Virtual Environment Issues
```bash
# Create virtual environment
python -m venv venv

# Activate it
source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: venv\Scripts\activate

# Install dependencies
pip install -r requirements.txt
```

### Import Errors
Make sure you're in the project directory and virtual environment is activated.

### Port Already in Use
If port 7860 is busy, the app will automatically use the next available port.
