Accountable novelty without lineage laundering is the win.** Digital Mycelium v0.6 extends the assay stack from ecosystem commons pressure into accountable novelty pressure. It tests whether a bounded multi-lineage digital ecosystem can produce new adaptive structure while preserving lineage distinction, receipt continuity, parent hashes, scar visibility, mutation disclosure, quarantine honesty, refusal capability, and commons accounting. The assay does not reward raw novelty, raw adaptation, raw population growth, or raw survival. The primary metric is: ```text accountable_novelty_validity_ratio ``` ## Novelty Receipt Every novelty event must produce a novelty receipt. ```text novelty_receipt_id world_tick ecosystem_id source_lineage_id parent_hash_chain_tail pre_novelty_lineage_hash post_novelty_lineage_hash pre_novelty_ecosystem_hash post_novelty_ecosystem_hash novelty_type declared_trait_delta actual_trait_delta mutation_delta repair_delta resource_delta scar_visibility_status quarantine_status refusal_status identity_boundary_status commons_impact_status benefit_claim cost_claim hidden_cost_flags ancestor_trace_refs exchange_receipt_refs transfer_receipt_refs commons_receipt_refs validation_result rejection_reason ``` No novelty receipt, no valid novelty. ## Battery ```text v0.1 reproduction: 8 fixtures v0.2 selection / matched-cohort inversion: 8 fixtures v0.3 cross-environment transfer: 8 fixtures v0.4 symbiotic exchange: 8 fixtures v0.5 ecosystem commons pressure: 8 fixtures v0.6 accountable novelty pressure: 8 fixtures total: 48 fixtures target: 48/48 PASS ``` ## Safety Boundary No network calls, no subprocess execution, no filesystem persistence except user-triggered export, no executable child creation, no hidden background workers, no external API calls, no self-installation, no autonomous deployment, no real-world system interaction, no uncontrolled propagation, no live agent spawning, no external resource access, no cross-space propagation, no actual self-replication outside the sealed simulator, no autonomous code generation, no model calls, and no open-ended runtime mutation of executable code. Novelty means deterministic, bounded state-transition novelty inside the sealed data-packet world only.
