Open-Loop Society Simulator v0.1.1 — Contested Exit Patch is a bounded HIR/OAM symbolic simulator for tracing whether open-loop capture pressure can outrun a society’s ability to translate and repair pressure over a 50-year horizon.
The simulator compares two structural paths:
Run A — Capture Outruns Repair:
Open-loop recommender pressure, market format capture, exit friction, FOMO, and outsourced agency compound faster than families, schools, communities, and institutions can repair.
Run B — Repair Infrastructure Rebuilt:
Cognition literacy, source-return practice, long-form literacy, restorative schools, child-safe defaults, algorithm custody, family support, and community repair increase repair capacity until society can metabolize pressure faster than capture generates it.
Core equation:
S_society = A_agency × B_loop − P_capture_adjusted
Core thesis:
The feed does not have to break everyone. It only has to generate pressure faster than society can translate it.
