# Runtime Trail v0.1.1 — Cell Stage Mutation Patch
Runtime Trail is a symbolic HIR/OAM pressure-evolution instrument.
This first public cell-stage prototype begins at the smallest boundary: a tiny cell-like seed inside a pressure field. The instrument asks what happens when that boundary encounters nutrient gradients, cold, toxin, waste, membrane damage, repair events, trace signals, and return loops.
The core premise is simple:
**A cell is a boundary under pressure. A society is many boundaries under pressure.**
Runtime Trail uses this first cell-stage layer to visualize how pressure changes a system across four connected views:
- **Mind / Cognition Panel** — internal correction shape, signal fidelity, knots, repair bridges, proto-cognitive routing, and return loops.
- **Physical Attributes Panel** — external adaptation such as membrane thickening, scars, defensive ridges, tendrils, energy glow, and repair seams.
- **Local World Panel** — environmental pressure sources such as n…
