<p><strong>Katanya</strong>, seorang <em>ayah </em>adalah cinta pertama anak perempuannya. Katanya, cinta <em>ayah </em>adalah hal pertama yang diajarkan dunia pada perempuan. Katanya <em>ayah </em>adalah rumah bagi anak perempuannya, tapi di mana rumah itu? Di mana cinta yang orang-orang agungkan?</p>



<p>Ada <em>ayah </em>di rumah ini. Namun, setiap ucapannya hanyalah nada-nada tinggi yang menghiasi pagi. Langkahnya selalu tergesa-gesa, meninggalkan pintu yang terbuka setengah. Ada kehadirannya, tapi tidak untukku.</p>



<p>Aku tumbuh dengan mencari. Dalam lirih pagi, dalam bayang malam, aku menunggu. Namun tak ada. Tak ada tangan yang menggenggam, tak ada suara yang meluruhkan gelisah, tak ada tatapan yang memeluk. Hari-hariku dikecup oleh rasa ingin tahu yang tidak pernah dipeluk jawaban. <strong>Apakah aku terlalu tak terlihat untuk dicintai?</strong> Aku melihat mereka, anak-anak di luar sana. Gadis-gadis kecil yang tertawa sambil bergelayut di lengan <em>ayahnya</em>. Berbagi cerita tentang hari-hari yang dilalui, tentang langit biru dan kelabu, atau tentang hal-hal kecil yang tidak penting. Aku melihat mereka, aku bertanya, apa rasanya?</p>



<p>Aku bertanya lagi, bukan pada siapa-siapa, hanya pada diriku sendiri. Jadi, di mana cinta yang orang-orang maksudkan?</p>
