2025-2 Semester Early Course Registration
|
| 3 |
+
|
| 4 |
+
Read carefully before you apply.
|
| 5 |
+
|
| 6 |
+
1. What is the Early Course Registration System?
|
| 7 |
+
|
| 8 |
+
Early course registration allows students to select and save preferred courses in advance within their credit limit, before the regular course registration period. It is not on a first-come, first-served basis.
|
| 9 |
+
|
| 10 |
+
- If the number of early registrants exceeds the course capacity, registration will not succeed. Students must try again during the regular course registration period.
|
| 11 |
+
- If the number of registrants is within capacity, the registration will be successful.
|
| 12 |
+
- Regular course registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
|
| 13 |
+
- Students must check registration results on August 8 to confirm course enrollment.
|
| 14 |
+
|
| 15 |
+

SGCS offers a 2-year Korean language program for IBT and ISE major students. This program is conducted during regular semesters and is taught by Korean language education experts. It complements the basic required Korean courses and aims to help students achieve a high academic level of Korean proficiency.
|
| 7 |
+
|
| 8 |
+
The program also supports students in adapting to Korean society and culture. Additionally, SGCS provides extracurricular Korean classes for senior students to help advance their Korean language skills and support their career development in Korea.
|
| 9 |
+
|
| 10 |
+
2. INHA Phronesis Seminar Program
|
| 11 |
+
|
| 12 |
+
The INHA Phronesis Seminar is a mandatory course for all SGCS freshmen. It introduces students to academic and school life at Inha University.
|
| 13 |
+
|
| 14 |
+
The seminar includes a campus tour, mentoring sessions with SGCS seniors, lectures on presentation skills, academic writing, and special sessions from faculty across IBT, ISE, and KLC majors.
|
| 15 |
+
|
| 16 |
+
This program helps freshmen choose their majors and set academic goals, while also building a sense of belonging and strong peer relationships.
|
| 17 |
+
|
| 18 |
+
3. Exchange Program
|
| 19 |
+
|
| 20 |
+
SGCS students at Inha University can participate in international exchange programs to study abroad for one or two semesters at partner universities.
|
| 21 |
+
|
| 22 |
+
To qualify, students must have completed at least five semesters at Inha University and meet specific academic and language requirements (e.g., GPA threshold, English proficiency scores).
|
| 23 |
+
|
| 24 |
+
The exchange program is coordinated by the universityโs International Team and provides students with opportunities to experience new cultures and academic environments.

Additional Information on Employment Requests
|
| 78 |
+
|
| 79 |
+
1. Eligibility: Only students in their 8th semester or above (graduating students or students in their final semester) can apply for an employment request.
|
| 80 |
+
|
| 81 |
+
2. Job Type: Only full-time positions are eligible. (Internships leading to employment are not accepted.)
|
| 82 |
+
|
| 83 |
+
3. Employment Request will only be issued if you can complete all required credits by the end of the semester, assuming you are eligible to graduate.
|
| 84 |
+
|
| 85 |
+
4. Attendance Recognition: Even if your employment request is processed, you must get final approval from the professor for your attendance to be recognized.
|
| 86 |
+
|
| 87 |
+
|
| 88 |
+
Important Note: Attendance recognition does not guarantee a grade. (If you miss classes or assignments, you may receive an F.)
|
| 89 |
+
|
| 90 |
+
To avoid this, you should discuss with your professor and submit any alternative assignments if needed.
