This guide explains how to replace mock data with real TransitApp API calls.
## Step 1: Get API Access
1. Visit https://transitapp.com/apis
2. Fill out the request form
3. Wait for approval (usually 1-2 business days)
4. You'll receive:
- API key
- Base URL (usually `https://api.transitapp.com/v3`)
- Rate limits: 5 calls/minute, 1,500/month (free tier)
