# pirol — AI research lab

**Research on human–agentic interaction and swarm intelligence. Products that put it to work.**

pirol is a small German AI lab researching human–agentic interaction. We build tools that let people and agents share a desk — predictable, observable and safe. We believe the future holds not one model but many — a swarm of intelligence.

## Research

Our research makes agentic work on sensitive, private data affordable, safe,
and reliable — even on long-horizon tasks. To get there, we explore new
thinking and reasoning techniques, built for a world where the most valuable
data can never leave the building.

**We will release our first small model in 2026** — together with a technical
report, right here.

## Products

- **[pirol API](https://pirol.ai/endpoint)** — the privacy gateway for AI: a drop-in endpoint that pseudonymizes or anonymizes personal data in every prompt before any model sees it. Managed in the EU, or fully offline with Pirol Local.
