# Clap — BASE Station semantic audio search

LAION CLAP (`larger_clap_music_and_speech`) embedding service. Returns 512-d
normalized embeddings for text queries and audio files in one shared space, so a
text query can be scored directly against audio embeddings by cosine similarity.

- `POST /embed/text`  { text } -> { embedding, dim }
- `POST /embed/audio` { audio_url } -> { embedding, dim, seconds }
- `GET  /health`      -> { ok, model, dim }

Runs on free CPU: the model is small and embedding is a single forward pass.
