Rework progress UI: button-as-progress-bar + ink-splat animation
bennyguo +1: Claude Opus 4.8- Turn the Generate button itself into the progress bar: its label shows the current stage (Starting / Encoding / Sampling · step n/m / Decoding / Saving / Done) and a fill layer grows with the completion fraction. - Replace the in-viewer progress bar/label with a Splatoon-style ink-splat animation: irregular procedural blob shapes (lumpy main blob + droplets + specks), semi-transparent so overlaps blend, in tones of the gold accent. - Splats keep dropping across the viewer in bursts (1–4 at a time) at randomised intervals; capped at 128, oldest fades out when exceeded. - On completion the overlay (backdrop + splats) fades out gracefully via a CSS opacity transition rather than vanishing, revealing the 3D result. Polish web UI: gold theme, scrollable left panel, header cleanup
bennyguo +1: Claude Opus 4.8- Retheme accent from red to the Tripo gold (#F9CF00) across the dark UI: tokens, logo, buttons, focus rings, hovers, viewer glow, and the sampling progress bar. Generate button now uses dark ink text for contrast on gold. Destructive/error reds are intentionally kept. - Rename the title "Splat" to "TripoSplat". - Make the left panel scrollable with the Generate button pinned to the bottom (inner .panel-left-scroll), so the upload area is no longer clipped when the settings accordion is expanded. - Move the Paper/Blog/GitHub links into the header center and drop the tagline; remove the redundant left-panel title and the duplicate bottom "drag to orbit" hint (the viewer keeps its top-left one). Add live sampling progress bar to the web UI
bennyguo +1: Claude Opus 4.8Stream per-step sampling progress from the generate endpoint to the custom frontend so users see a live progress bar during generation. - app.py: report progress via a gr.Progress() tracker created inside generate(). It is created in the function body rather than as a parameter because @app.api() derives its input schema from the signature and would otherwise treat `progress` as a required input. The bar tracks the sampling loop only: pre-sampling stages report 0% and post-sampling (decode/save) report 100%. - index.html: switch generate() from client.predict() to client.submit() and connect with events:["data","status"] so progress (status) events actually reach the stream (the client default is ["data"] only); render a progress overlay inside the viewer. gradio server (#1)
- Migrate to gradio.Server with custom frontend (a589bff7256b28a341932723105a1c478e3edc24) - Fix ZeroGPU pickling error: save files inside @spaces.GPU function (83cd54d25ea3575a6da02f148f34e70334ef93f1) - Update custom frontend branding: use official Tripo AI colors and webp logo (01259830cc79cd3db4616aa77429d6bc26358faa) Co-authored-by: AK <akhaliq@users.noreply.huggingface.co>a6e508b

Inline image_in render; fix example-click misrouted to generate
bennyguoThe previous deferred-render pattern (image_in declared with render=False then rendered inside a column after gr.Examples) caused gr.Examples to wire its click event to the next registered handler (run_btn.click -> generate), but with only [image_in] as the input list. That produced "generate didn't receive enough input values (needed: 6, got: 1)". Declaring image_in inside the column directly and putting gr.Examples immediately after fixes the wiring.5df883c -
Run full pipeline in a single GPU call
bennyguoFold preprocessing into generate() so one button click triggers one @spaces.GPU acquisition instead of two (one on image change, one on generate). The preprocessed preview now updates after generation.db54c72 -
Run image preprocessing on GPU
bennyguoDecorate on_image_change with @spaces.GPU so BiRefNet runs on the GPU worker instead of falling back to the CPU-only main process.0798bf7
