# Asset provenance

This Space uses a subset of the Valen shared design system, version 0.5.1.

- `assets/modern-tokens.css`: unchanged from `design-system/styles/modern-tokens.css`.
- `assets/valen-mark.png`: unchanged `design-system/assets/brand/valen-mark-white.png`.
- `assets/dmsans.woff2`: DM Sans font from the shared design system.
- `assets/OFL.txt`: font license notices, preserved with the font.

Valen branding identifies Valen Team and its projects. No trademark rights are
granted. No additional open-source license is asserted for the application or
design source. Snapshot hashes are recorded in `assets/manifest.json`.

## Cookbook examples

The text, image and video examples are adapted from the Valen website's
`src/components/modern/cookbook.ts` and the official
[API cookbook](https://github.com/Valen-Team/Valen/blob/main/cookbook/api_quickstart.ipynb).
`cookbook/sheep.jpg`, `cookbook/momos.mp4` and `cookbook/momos-frame.jpg` are copied
unchanged from `valen-team.github.io/static/cookbook/`. They retain their upstream
rights and attribution. Video preprocessing is adapted from the website's `media.ts`.
