<h3>How do I use the App?</h3>
<p>Select one of the five study categories (Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Listening Comprehension, or Italian Culture) from the Study tab. Practice questions, mark favorites, and review wrong answers in the Review tab. Take timed mock exams from the Exam tab. Reference materials (Writing Templates and Speaking Topics) are available in the Profile tab.</p>
<h3>Does the App require an internet connection?</h3>
<p>No. The app is fully offline. All question banks, mock exams, listening audio (read aloud via the built-in iOS Italian voice), and reference materials are bundled with the app. No Wi-Fi or cellular connection is required at any time.</p>
<h3>How does the Listening section work?</h3>
<p>Listening questions use the system's Italian text-to-speech voice (it-IT) built into iOS. Each listening prompt can be played up to 2 times. After answering, the transcript and explanation are revealed. If no Italian voice is installed on your device, you can download it from iOS Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → Italian.</p>
<h3>Is my data stored?</h3>
<p>All practice records, wrong-answer logs, favorites, and exam history are stored locally on your device using Apple's secure sandbox, encrypted with CryptoKit. No cloud upload, no account registration, and no analytics are involved.</p>
<h3>How do I restore my purchase on a new device?</h3>
<p>CILS B1 Prep is a one-time purchase app managed by the Apple App Store. On a new device signed in with the same Apple ID, simply download the app from your purchased apps list. No in-app purchase, no subscription, and no restore button are needed.</p>
<h3>How do I reset my progress?</h3>
<p>Go to Profile → Settings → Reset All Progress. This permanently clears all answered questions, wrong answers, favorites, and exam history. This action cannot be undone.</p>

<p>All data generated within the app (practice records, error logs, favorites, mock exam scores) is stored locally on your device:</p>

<li>📱 Stored within your device using Apple's native sandbox mechanism.</li>
<li>🔒 Encrypted with Apple CryptoKit before being written to UserDefaults.</li>
<li>🛡 Inaccessible to any other apps or network services.</li>
<li>🗑 When you uninstall the app, all related records are automatically and permanently deleted by the system.</li>

<h3>3. Does Data Get Transmitted to Servers?</h3>
<p>Our service has no servers. All question practice, scoring, and progress tracking logic runs locally on your device:</p>

<li>✅ Practice data is never uploaded to any cloud service.</li>
<li>✅ No telemetry, no crash reporting, no usage statistics.</li>

<p>Note: If you enable iCloud backup on your device, your local app data may be backed up to your iCloud account. This is governed by Apple's official Privacy Policy.</p>

<p>CILS B1 Prep uses only Apple-native frameworks. There are no third-party SDKs integrated:</p>

<li>❌ No in-app purchase SDKs (the app is a one-time paid download managed entirely by the Apple App Store).</li>

<p>Apple's App Store handles the purchase transaction. We never see, store, or process any payment information. Apple's Privacy Policy governs any data processed by Apple during the transaction.</p>
<h3>5. Device Permissions</h3>
<p>This app adheres to a "minimalist tool" principle and does not require any sensitive permissions:</p>

<li>🚫 No microphone access (listening audio is generated by the system TTS, not recorded by the user).</li>

<p>The app uses AVAudioSession in playback mode solely to play the system-generated Italian text-to-speech audio for listening questions. No audio is recorded from the user.</p>

<p>This app is primarily designed for adults preparing for the CILS B1 Cittadinanza exam (an Italian citizenship language requirement). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. In fact, we do not collect personally identifiable information from any users, regardless of age.</p>

The App is a one-time paid download on the Apple App Store. There are no subscription cycles, no auto-renewal, no hidden fees, and no in-app purchases. Once you download the App, you have permanent access to all features on the current device.</p>
<p><strong>5.2 Transaction Processing</strong><br>
