core/clap.py is a narrow double-clap detector: adaptive energy gate, a width check that tells a hand from a syllable, and one shared detector for both mics so one clap is one welcome. core/ceremony.py does music, greeting, an HONEST status line, weather and the ask - it may only claim all systems are operational when that is true. Music is a wav or mp3 you upload onto the volume; no key, no service, no rebuild, and it stops when the welcome is over whatever the file length. CREDITS.md records what was read and what was deliberately not copied.
