# Pricing - World Monitor

World Monitor has a free public dashboard and paid tiers for analyst workflows, API access and organization deployments.

Live tier/price/product-ID data (JSON): `GET https://www.worldmonitor.app/api/product-catalog` — public, no key required. Send a descriptive `User-Agent` (for example `mytool/1.0 (+https://yoursite.example)`); default HTTP-library user agents may be challenged by the edge firewall.

## License scope

- **Pro — Personal license:** one named subscriber may use World Monitor for their own research, learning, investing and decisions. It does not cover employer, business or client use.
- **Pro Business — Commercial license:** one named subscriber may use the dashboard, exports and included MCP / SDK allowance for company work, client analysis, reports, presentations and internal tools in that user's workflow. It does not cover a live customer-facing data product.
- **API Starter — Commercial license for your organization:** the subscribing organization may use the API in private systems, dashboards, automations and internal tools. It does not permit customer redistribution.
- **API Business — Commercial license for your customers:** the subscribing organization may display, embed or deliver API outputs as part of its own customer-facing product or service. It does not permit raw-data resale, shared API access or a standalone substitute for World Monitor.
- **Enterprise — Custom agreement:** required for higher-volume redistribution, additional seats, white-labeling, standalone data feeds and custom deployments.

World Monitor attribution is optional in reports, presentations and derived analysis permitted by your plan. If you choose to credit us, "Source: World Monitor" or "via World Monitor" is sufficient. Source-specific notices supplied with an output still apply.

- Price: $0/month
- Signup required: No
- Best for: Public situational awareness, OSINT research, market/geopolitical context, news monitoring
- Includes: 56 map layers, 500+ curated feeds, country briefs, hotspots, instability scores, chokepoints, cables, cascade analysis, breaking alert pipeline and watchlists
- Limits: 3 dashboard tabs; free dashboard refresh cadence is typically 5-15 minutes; advanced analyst, digest, API and team workflows require paid plans

## Pro

- Price: $39.99/month
- Annual price: $359.99/year
- Annual savings: 3 months free versus monthly billing
- Best for: Investors, analysts, researchers, traders and operators who need the decision layer on top of the free dashboard
- Includes: WM Analyst chat across 30+ live services with citations, Scenario Engine, Route Explorer, personal AI digest, custom widget builder, MCP access and 59 tools under one key
- License: Personal use
- Limits: 10 custom dashboards, MCP + SDK 50 calls/day
- Digest cadence: Daily, twice-daily or weekly
- Delivery channels: Slack, Discord, Telegram, email and webhook

## Pro Business

- Price: $49.99/month
- Annual price: $449.99/year
- Annual savings: 3 months free versus monthly billing
- Best for: Consultants, agencies and teams who use the Pro dashboard for client work, internal tools or reporting
- Includes: Everything in Pro, plus data export (CSV, JSON and PDF reports)
- License: Commercial license included — use WorldMonitor for client work, internal tools and reporting
- Limits: 25 custom dashboards, MCP + SDK 250 calls/day
- Support: Priority support
- Note: Pro and Pro Business are separate products, not a self-serve plan change. To move up, cancel Pro in the billing portal and start the Pro Business checkout; your Pro access runs to the end of the term you already paid for.

## API Starter

- Price: $99.99/month
- Annual price: $899.99/year
- Annual savings: about 25 percent versus monthly billing
- Best for: Developers and teams that want programmatic access to World Monitor intelligence data
- Includes: REST API access, license / API key creation (the `wm_` key used by the desktop app and API), structured JSON, cache headers, OpenAPI docs, real-time data streams and webhook notifications
- License: Commercial license for your organization — build internal tools and reporting on the data; redistributing it to your own customers requires API Business
- Starter limit: 1,000 requests/day
- Starter webhooks: 5 webhook rules

## API Business

- Price: $299.99/month
- Annual price: $2,699.99/year
- Annual savings: about 25 percent versus monthly billing
- Best for: Teams with high-volume programmatic workloads that outgrow the Starter quota
- Includes: Everything in API Starter, redistribution rights, 5 Pro licenses included and priority support
- License: Commercial license for your customers — embed WorldMonitor data in what you sell; the 5 bundled Pro seats all require the same company email domain
- Limits: 300 requests/minute, 10,000 requests/day
- Upgrading from Starter: manage the switch from the billing portal (prorated immediately); new customers can subscribe directly at https://worldmonitor.app/pro

## Enterprise

- Price: Custom

- Best for: Governments, institutions, trading desks, SOCs, risk consultancies and organizations that need shared monitoring or deployment control
- Includes: Everything in Pro and API, team workspaces, SSO/MFA/RBAC, dedicated support, white-label and embeddable panels, Android TV app, SIEM/connectors, bulk export and managed deployment options
- Deployment options: Cloud, dedicated cloud tenant, on-premises or air-gapped
- Security: AES-256 encrypted notification channels, audit trail, private MCP options and organization controls

## Limits & Overage

- Rate limits are hard limits by default: exceeding a plan quota returns HTTP `429` with a `Retry-After` header and `X-RateLimit-*` headers on API responses. Usage above the quota is rejected — never silently charged; if opt-in metered overage is introduced for API plans it will be documented here first.
