use tailwind css's transform: skewX or skewY to create a shearing effect like an aurora so that there are streaks at an angle

make the blobs larger, vary their alpha or transparency and make them overlap somewhat

Add more blobs that float around the border of the screen but they are pegged to the center point of the screen, they slowly and gracefully orbit the center of the screen like a galaxy does.

make the mouse movement sensitivity increase by 30%
