# 🤖 HuggingBot

**Your AI assistant, running natively in a HuggingFace Space.**

HuggingBot is a fully client-side, self-evolutionary AI chat app. It lives entirely in this Space — no backend server required.

## ✨ Features

- 🧠 **Tool-use agent loop** — the model can call tools (Web Search, Calculator, Image Gen, QR codes, Weather, News, Dictionary, and more) and iterate across steps
- 🛠️ **Self-evolution** — the `evolve_self` tool lets the assistant read, analyze, and rewrite its own source code right in the browser
- 📁 **ScratchPad** — upload files or have code written for you, with full line-level editing and version history
- 💬 **Conversations** — saved locally (localStorage or IndexedDB) with search, token & cost tracking
- 🎛️ **Model picker** — search 400+ models via OpenRouter (bring your own API key)
- 🧩 **Modular tool system** — modules load from a manifest and can be toggled on/off

## 🚀 Usage

1. Open the Space: https://broadfield-huggingbot.hf.space
2. Click **Settings** (⚙️) and enter your [OpenRouter API key](https://openrouter.ai/keys) (`sk-or-...`)
3. Chat away! Pick a model, enable modules, and let HuggingBot work.

## 🔒 Privacy

Your API key and conversations are stored **only in your own browser** (localStorage / IndexedDB). Nothing is sent to this Space's server — the app runs 100% client-side.
