# Test Without a USB Drive

This flow builds and runs the same payload in a local folder.

## Windows

```cmd
TEST-WITHOUT-USB.cmd
```

The target is `%LOCALAPPDATA%\JackAILocal-Test`. The builder installs models and Voice assets, validates the payload, then launches `START-HERE.cmd`.

## macOS

```bash
./TEST-WITHOUT-USB-MAC.command
```

The target is `$HOME/JackAILocal-Test`. The builder validates the macOS runtime, Ollama, models, and Voice assets before launch.

- Manifest detection
- Model installation into the target model store
- Voice asset installation
- Runtime startup
- Local inference
- WebUI and API behavior
- SHA-256 manifest generation

It does not validate removable-drive speed, host security policies for external media, or physical drive detection.
