# ♻️ Upcycle Things

**Photograph a discarded object → AI finds its second life.**

Upload a photo of something you'd normally throw away. Three small AI models work together to identify the object, design a creative transformation, and render what it could become.

## How it works

1. **Snap** — upload a photo of any discarded object
2. **Pick** — choose what it should become: Kids toy, Wall art, Flowerpot, or Lamp
3. **Watch** — three AI models analyze, design, and render the transformation

## Models used

| Model | Role | Size |
|-------|------|------|
| Qwen2-VL-7B | Identifies materials & components | 7B |
| Llama 3.1 8B | Designs the upcycling transformation | 8B |
| FLUX.2-klein-4B | Renders the AI vision | 4B |

All models run on [Modal](https://modal.com) GPU infrastructure. All are under 32B parameters.
