CoMSES Net, the Network for Computational Modeling in the Social and Ecological Sciences, is an open community of researchers, educators, and professionals with a common goal - improving the way we develop, share, use, and *reuse* agent based and computational models for the study of social and ecological systems. We maintain the [CoMSES Model Library](https://comses.net/codebases/), a digital repository that supports discovery and [good practices]( https://doi.org/10.15497/RDA00068) for [software citation](https://www.force11.org/software-citation-principles), digital preservation, reproducibility, and reuse. CoMSES Net is governed by an international executive board, ex-officio members (PIs on projects that fund CoMSES Net) with adherence to [these community drafted by-laws](https://comses.net/about/by-laws/) .
