# BioSPPy MCP Service

This deployment package exposes selected BioSPPy capabilities through a FastMCP server.

## Available Tools

- `health_check`
- `list_available_modules`
- `load_signal_from_txt`
- `filter_signal`
- `process_ecg`
- `process_eda`
- `process_resp`
- `compute_heart_rate_from_beats`

## Local stdio (Claude Desktop / CLI)

```bash
cd BioSPPy/mcp_output
python mcp_plugin/main.py
```

or:

```bash
cd BioSPPy/mcp_output
MCP_TRANSPORT=stdio python start_mcp.py
```

## HTTP clients

```bash
cd BioSPPy/mcp_output
MCP_TRANSPORT=http MCP_PORT=8000 python start_mcp.py
```

MCP HTTP endpoint is served at:

- `http://localhost:8000/mcp`

## Docker / HuggingFace Spaces

This package is configured for HuggingFace Spaces Docker runtime:

- Container runs as non-root user UID `1000`
- Port is fixed to `7860`
- Environment defaults: `MCP_TRANSPORT=http`, `MCP_PORT=7860`
- Entry point: `python BioSPPy/mcp_output/start_mcp.py`

For local Docker:

```bash
./run_docker.sh
```

PowerShell:

```
