Microcontroller and Microprocessor Laboratory is used for performing experiments related to Control Engineering, Embedded, Microprocessor and Microcontroller subjects, fully equipped with 8085, 8051, PIC and ARM processor kits with interfacing modules such as LCD and keypad, stepper motor, A to D converter, GPIO interface, Programmable Peripheral Interface, DMA controller. Solid State Lab is used for performing experiments related to Basic electronics, circuits and networks, electronics workshops, integrated circuits and applications, digital electronics subjects, fully equipped with various kits and trainer boards. Communication Laboratory is used for performing experiments related to electronics communication, digital communication, and power electronics subjects with equipments like DSOs, CROs, Function Generators, and Communication Trainer Kits, SCR based kits."

"details": "Electrical Mechanics Laboratory is equipped with basic and advanced electrical machines including 1-Phase and 3-Phase transformer, 1-phase and 3-phase variac, Induction machines, DC machines, Synchronous machines, lamp banks, various measuring meters, cut section of machines to demonstrate various parts, and various Resistive Inductive and Capacitive load banks. High Voltage Engineering Laboratory is designed to provide platform for basic studies and research in Insulation studies with Oil testing kit, kit for measurement of dielectric strength of solid, Horn-gap arrester, Electrolytic tank, Sphere-Gap assembly, High-voltage transformer with control panel, and High-voltage rectifier. Switchgear and Protection Laboratory has Transmission Line Simulator with Protection system, Microcontroller based Distance Relay trainer, Microcontroller based Over Current relay trainer, and various Circuit breaker for demonstration. Electronics Laboratory has Experimental setups for power electronics Applications such as PWM Inverters, V-I Characteristics of IGBT SCR UJT and MOSFET trainer, A.C. voltage controllers, Cyclo-converter, Chopper controlled DC drives, Chopper trainer, Single phase dual converter, Gate Base triggering circuit trainer, Digital Storage Scopes 60 MHz and 200 MHz with high voltage differential probe, AC to DC regulated dual power supplies, Measurement panel includes CRO function generator regulated DC power supply. Computer Lab teaches students of each semester efficiently and effectively with software like MATLAB SciLab VLab PSIM for practicals, internet facility for e-learning materials, and resources for Design engineering and final year project work. Network Measurement and Instrumentation Lab is located at L204 L block Electrical department equipped with various experimental setups of bridges for measuring R L C, thermocouples, LVDT, Strain gauge, ultrasonic distance measurement and other measuring instruments for enhancing students knowledge in measurement of electrical parameters."

Engineering Drawing Lab develops ability to produce simple engineering drawings and sketches based on current practice and abstract information from schematic diagrams to produce working drawings for manufacturers installers and fabricators. Fluid Mechanics Fluid Power Engineering Lab runs in conjunction with theory courses 2141906 Fluid Mechanics and 2151903 Fluid Power Engineering as introductory course for flow behaviour, fluid forces and analysis tools, determination of applications of control volume approach, demonstration of momentum and energy equations, and engineering correlations. Refrigeration and Air conditioning Lab has basics of refrigeration and air conditioning cycle with different areas of applications, experiments on refrigerator trainer and air conditioning test rig. Internal Combustion Engineering Automobile Engg. has Four stroke four cylinder petrol engine test rig Morse test, Jeep chassis with cut section engine, Wheel balancer, cut section of single cylinder two stroke petrol engine, single cylinder four stroke petrol engine, single cylinder four stroke diesel engine, Four wheel drive with differential and rear axle, Constant mesh gear box, Synchromesh gear box for studying different systems of Internal Combustion Engine. Heat transfer Lab studies different modes of heat transfer including conduction, convection and radiation, correlating real life applications to theoretical knowledge like heat exchangers, critical radius of insulation and film-wise and drop-wise condensation processes. Workshop provides basic level knowledge of mechanical Engineering for first year all branches including carpentry job, fitting job, welding job, tin smithy. BME Lab is Basic mechanical Engineering laboratory for first year all branches with knowledge of Boiler, I.C. Engine, Power Transmitting element. CAD Lab enables students to view objects under various representations and test objects by simulating real-world conditions for accomplishing design objectives easily and efficiently. Thermal Lab introduces fundamental theories and industrial applications of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics with charts, models, experimental setups. DOM TOM Lab helps students understand working principles of machines and transmission of motion and forces responsible for motion, unbalanced forces in rotary and reciprocating engines, time period determination for different vibrational systems and vibration measurement techniques. Machining Lab contains three Laboratories Manufacturing Process 1, 2 and Production Technology for identifying different tools for machining, understanding tool signature, manufacturing technology, engineering sciences with management science, applications of castings, machining processing, joining processes, metal cutting, machine tools, machining systems, jigs and fixtures, die and mould design, material science, machine designing and manufacturing."

"details": "Language Laboratory at VGEC is located on ground floor of E-block with computers, internet, headsets with microphones, and projector to support effective language learning. It provides space for group and pair activities like group discussions, mock interviews, book movie review presentations, debates and role-plays, helping students improve English communication skills, fluency, and confidence for academic and professional use. Physics Laboratory in Block I-106 is designed for experiments of various areas of physics such as mechanics, LASER-optics, semiconductor, acoustics, giving training to students for developing experimental skills and exposing them to modern techniques with state of the art instruments and virtual lab experiments with emphasis on understanding concepts of physics. Chemistry Organic Chemistry Lab is equipped with high-end facilities including Alpha-FTIR Spectrometer with versatile ZnSe ATR crystal suitable for analyzing powders, solids, pastes, and liquids, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer ideal for studying organic compounds and coloured metal complexes, and wide range of organic precursors and salts for research, postgraduate and undergraduate experiments. Applied Chemistry Lab Physical and Inorganic Chemistry Lab is equipped with general-purpose instruments such as flame photometer, pH meter, conductivity meter, and turbidity meter suitable for estimation of various inorganic samples and routine chemical analysis in industry and research settings."
