# Work Translation Explorer

Interactive explorer for the `work-translation` repeated LLM back-translation dataset.

By default the app loads data from the Hugging Face dataset repo `hoololi/work-translation`. Set `HF_DATASET_REPO` to another dataset repo id if needed.

The app lets users:

- select a French source text;
- compare LLM models or pivot languages;
- navigate returned-to-French translation steps;
- inspect raw translated outputs;
- visualize semantic similarity, vocabulary overlap, surface/edit similarity, and length ratio.

The underlying dataset studies what happens when short French texts are repeatedly translated to a pivot language and back by an LLM using stateless API calls.
