+Accepts an arXiv ID (with or without version), an arXiv or Hugging Face paper
+URL, an arXiv DOI, or a DOI. Catalog papers return in_catalog=true with their
+catalog_id and catalog_url. Other papers are looked up on Hugging Face Papers,
+arXiv, and Crossref and return in_catalog=false, metadata_source, and an
+available_at list of labelled links where the paper can be read. 404 means no
+source knows the identifier; 429 and 503 carry Retry-After. GET
+/api/v1/papers/{id} still returns 404 for papers outside the catalog.
