# Public Upload Checklist for Ares

The Hugging Face Static Space can go on the public internet. Before uploading or pushing, check this list.

## Safe to publish

- `index.html` static app
- `README.md`, `ROADMAP.md`, deployment docs
- `ares_core/*.py` source code
- `configs/*.json` architecture configs
- tiny sample data intentionally written for the repo
- Colab notebook without executed secret outputs

## Do not publish unless intentional

- model checkpoints: `*.pt`, `*.pth`, `*.ckpt`, `*.safetensors`, `*.bin`, `*.gguf`
- training outputs: `artifacts/`, `checkpoints/`, `runs/`, `wandb/`
- databases: `*.db`, `*.sqlite`, `*.sqlite3`
- raw datasets or private notes
- Google Drive links to private folders
- Hugging Face tokens or API keys
- `kaggle.json`, `.env`, `.netrc`, private SSH keys
- notebook outputs that contain tokens, paths, or private data snippets

## Recommended artifact locations

- Keep training artifacts in Google Drive while experimenting.
- Publish checkpoints to a separate Hugging Face **model repo** only when you choose.
- Keep the Static Space repo mostly code/docs/UI.

## Last command before upload

From the project folder:

```

Look for accidental checkpoints, databases, secrets, and raw data before pushing.
