# Black Dragon AI - Terms and Conditions Last updated: 8 June 2026 Terms version: 2026-06-08-v1 These Terms govern access to and use of Black Dragon AI, including the web app, local backend, hosted backend, games, notes, memory, image/search features, voice features, and PC-assistant tools. These Terms are a production-ready template, not legal advice. The operator should have them reviewed by a qualified lawyer before public release or commercial distribution. ## 1. Acceptance By using Black Dragon, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Black Dragon. If you use Black Dragon for a company, school, team, or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation. ## 3. What Black Dragon Provides Black Dragon is an AI assistant and productivity interface that may provide: - AI chat, writing, summarising, planning, coding, study, and research help, - memory and notes, - file/image analysis where enabled, - browser search and third-party image lookup, - games and creative tools, - safe PC-assistant actions on a local owner device, - monitoring and abuse-protection features. Features may change, fail, be rate-limited, or be disabled depending on backend configuration, hosting, API provider availability, device permissions, and applicable law. ## 4. Login and Access Public or hosted backend routes may require a Black Dragon password or access token. Users must not: - bypass login, - share private passwords without permission, - attack or scan backend routes, - scrape or overload the service, - attempt to extract API keys, hidden prompts, secrets, or server files. The operator may suspend or block access for abuse, security risk, illegal use, excessive traffic, or violation of these Terms. ## 5. Backend-Only Secrets API keys and provider credentials must stay in the backend, hosting secrets, environment variables, or protected backend secret files. They must not be placed in frontend code, public repositories, screenshots, public chats, or APK assets. Users are responsible for protecting any credentials they control. ## 6. Acceptable Use You must use Black Dragon lawfully and responsibly. You must not use Black Dragon to create, request, store, transmit, or assist with content or actions that: - violate Indian law or any applicable law, - infringe copyright, trademark, patent, privacy, publicity, or other rights, - include malware, phishing, credential theft, unauthorised access, or evasion, - exploit, endanger, identify, or harm children, - harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, or abuse others, - promote violence, self-harm, terrorism, or unlawful activity, - threaten the sovereignty, integrity, defence, security, public order, or friendly relations of India, - deceive users through impersonation, manipulated claims, or knowingly false information, - overload, reverse engineer, probe, or disrupt Black Dragon or connected services. The operator may remove content, restrict accounts, preserve records, or cooperate with lawful authorities where required. ## 7. AI Output Limitations AI output may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, biased, or unsuitable. Black Dragon is not a lawyer, doctor, financial adviser, cybersecurity auditor, government authority, emergency service, or antivirus replacement. You must independently verify important answers before relying on them, especially for legal, medical, financial, safety, cybersecurity, academic, or business decisions. ## 8. Coding and PC Assistance Black Dragon may help write code or suggest PC actions. Users remain responsible for reviewing code, commands, downloads, files, websites, and system changes before using them. Local PC-assistant actions are intended to be limited to safe commands such as system status, opening allowlisted apps, network information, process listing, cleanup scan, and antivirus scan. Destructive actions should be blocked or require explicit confirmation. Public hosted deployments should not provide direct control over a user's PC. ## 9. Antivirus and Security Features Black Dragon may call Microsoft Defender or run suspicious-file checks where available. These features are assistance tools only. No antivirus or scan can detect every threat. Users should keep Windows, browsers, antivirus tools, apps, and dependencies updated. ## 10. Images, Search, and Third-Party Content Images, links, search results, and browser results may come from third-party websites, search providers, Wikimedia-style sources, or other public sources. Unless explicitly stated, Black Dragon does not own, create, license, verify, or guarantee third-party content. Users must check ownership, licences, permissions, accuracy, and suitability before copying, sharing, editing, publishing, or using third-party content commercially. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for third-party content, external websites, broken links, unavailable images, inaccurate search results, or user misuse of those materials. ## 11. User Content You keep ownership of content you submit, subject to any rights needed for Black Dragon to process it and provide the service. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required to submit any content, files, notes, images, prompts, or data. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, illegal, or third-party data unless you have authority and the deployment is configured for that risk. ## 12. Memory and Notes Memory and notes are for convenience. Users are responsible for what they save. Do not store passwords, OTPs, bank details, private identity documents, or sensitive personal data in memory or notes unless the operator has added a lawful secure workflow. ## 13. Privacy Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. By using Black Dragon, you agree that prompts, memory, notes, files, images, logs, and metadata may be processed as described there. ## 14. Availability Black Dragon may be unavailable due to device shutdown, backend downtime, hosting sleep, API provider limits, network failure, maintenance, abuse protection, or configuration errors. The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, exact response speed, model quality, or permanent data retention. ## 15. No Warranty Black Dragon is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator disclaims warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation. ## 16. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator, creator, contributors, hosting providers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, device issues, third-party claims, AI mistakes, or misuse by users. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited. ## 17. Indemnity You agree to defend and indemnify the operator from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of Black Dragon, unlawful content, rights infringement, unauthorised data submission, or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law. ## 18. Complaints and Grievances For complaints, privacy requests, takedown requests, or legal notices, contact: [Add grievance email] The operator should acknowledge and process complaints within a reasonable time and follow applicable Indian law and hosting-provider requirements. ## 19. Changes The operator may update these Terms. Material changes should be shown in the app and may require acceptance before continued use. ## 20. Governing Law and Disputes Unless the final operator chooses another valid clause, these Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts or dispute forums should be selected after legal review based on the operator's location and launch plan. Users should first contact the operator in writing and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve disputes. ## 21.
