Tests discovered 8 issues across timeout handling, provider fallback, database connection management, and resource exhaustion. **Severity Breakdown:** - **Critical:** 0 bugs - **High:** 3 bugs - **Medium:** 3 bugs - **Low:** 2 bugs --- ## Bug Findings ### Bug 1: BYOKHandler Stream Completion Returns Async Generator Directly **Severity:** High **Location:** `core/llm/byok_handler.py:stream_completion()` **Failure Mode:** LLM provider timeout during streaming **Root Cause:** The `stream_completion()` method returns an async generator directly, but test code attempts to use it in an `await expression` causing "object async_generator can't be used in 'await' expression" error. **Impact:** Streaming LLM responses fail when timeouts occur mid-stream. Tests `test_llm_provider_timeout_during_stream`, `test_websocket_connection_dropped`, and `test_timeout_with_partial_response` all fail with this error. **Test Case:** `test_llm_provider_timeout_during_stream()` demonstrates the bug **Fix Recommendation:** Update stream completion to handle async generators properly without awaiting them: ```python # Current (incorrect): async for chunk in await handler.stream_completion(...): # Fixed: async for chunk in handler.stream_completion(...): ``` Or wrap the async generator in a proper async context manager. **Expected Behavior:** Stream completion should return an async iterator that can be used directly in `async for` loops without additional `await`. --- ### Bug 2: Database Connection Errors Not Caught During Session Creation **Severity:** High **Location:** `core/database.py:SessionLocal()` **Failure Mode:** Connection pool exhaustion, timeout, "too many connections" **Root Cause:** SQLAlchemy 2.0 doesn't raise connection errors during `SessionLocal()` creation.
