# Vercel Setup - Quick Reference

## 📋 Pre-Deployment Checklist

- [ ] GitHub repository with code
- [ ] Google Gemini API key ([Get one](https://makersuite.google.com/app/apikey))
- [ ] Vercel account ([Sign up free](https://vercel.com/signup))

## 🚀 Deployment Steps

### 1. Import Project to Vercel

1. Go to vercel.com
2. Click "Add New..." → "Project"
3. Select "Import Git Repository"
4. Choose your GitHub repository
5. Vercel auto-detects configuration from vercel.json
```

### 2. Configure Environment Variables

Add these in Vercel Dashboard → Settings → Environment Variables:

#### Required

#### Optional (with defaults)

```

**Important**: Set for all environments (Production, Preview, Development)

### 3. Deploy

1. Click "Deploy"
2. Wait 2-3 minutes
3. Visit your URL: https://your-app.vercel.app
```

## ✅ Post-Deployment Testing

### Test Questions

**Should Answer:**

### Verify

- [ ] Frontend loads correctly

## 🔧 Common Issues

### Build Fails

**Error**: "Module not found"

### API Returns 500

**Error**: Function crashes

# Solution: Check Vercel function logs

### Frontend Can't Reach API

**Error**: "Failed to fetch"

### Slow Responses

**Issue**: First request takes 5-10 seconds

### Update Code
