# Licenses

Licenses apply by component, not to this repository as a whole.

- R lens, S lens and units packs: fitted by drowse from Gemma 3 1B's activations, so the Gemma Terms of Use and the Gemma Prohibited Use Policy govern them, included as `GEMMA-TERMS.html` and `GEMMA-PROHIBITED-USE-POLICY.html` (see `NOTICE.txt`). They
  were fitted on FineWeb-Edu, which Hugging Face releases under the
  [Open Data Commons Attribution License v1.0](https://opendatacommons.org/licenses/by/1-0/); its use
  is also subject to Common Crawl's Terms of Use. Each pack's `ATTRIBUTION.md` gives the citation.
