AI Institute of LNCC

The AI Institute of LNCC (IIA-LNCC) is an initiative of the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (LNCC), based in Petrópolis (RJ), Brazil.

The Institute acts as a communication channel between the Brazilian scientific community and national and international Artificial Intelligence initiatives, focusing on identifying researchers and their needs, organizing meetings and training sessions, and structuring Brazil's participation in international AI projects.

Mission

To promote scientific and technological advancement in the field of Artificial Intelligence in Brazil, through the identification of researchers and demands from the scientific community, the organization of meetings, training sessions and technical visits, and the structuring of Brazilian participation in international initiatives.

Vision

To be recognized nationally and internationally as a center of excellence in Artificial Intelligence research and development, contributing significantly to the advancement of knowledge in the field and to the country's socioeconomic development.
