scadcoder-qwen3.5-9b-v4
A 3-epoch LoRA fine-tune of Qwen3.5-9B for parametric bio-lab OpenSCAD, for the Tiiny Pocket Lab (v4: v2's data plus rejection-sampled and held-out distilled examples).
- Base:
Qwen/Qwen3.5-9B(archQwen3_5ForConditionalGeneration); vision encoder preserved, language layers LoRA-merged to bf16 safetensors. - Run with reasoning/thinking off.
Training data
9,136 single-turn rows (8,187 unique), 3 epochs, LoRA rank 32 (dropout 0.1) on the language layers:
- the 7,238 render-verified examples of v2 (
scadcoder-qwen3.5-9b-3ep); - 269 of v2's own rejection-sampled generations that passed the verifier, weighted x2;
- 680 examples distilled from Claude Opus on bench-style descriptions of 17 part families that are not Prompt-to-Bench tasks (every description shares at most 36% of its tokens with any benchmark prompt), each render-verified (watertight, bounding box within 15%), weighted x2.
Unlike v3, nothing in the training data paraphrases a benchmark task, so its benchmark scores measure transfer. Details: https://github.com/ATinyGreenCell/prompt-to-bench (§6.4).
