SecGuard β Security Decision Model v1.0.0
Layered guardrail for LLM and agent systems. Not a single neural net: a decision engine that fuses
normalisation/de-obfuscation, provenance-aware rules, AST validation of generated SQL, checksum-validated PII
detection and (optionally) transformer classifiers into allow / sanitize / review / block.
Covers: prompt injection Β· multi-hop (indirect) injection with source provenance Β· SQL injection (text + AST) Β· PII & secrets (Luhn, Verhoeff/Aadhaar, IBAN, PAN, API keys, JWT, DB URLs) Β· jailbreaks Β· command injection Β· path traversal Β· SSRF Β· XSS Β· template injection.

Evaluation
Thresholds were calibrated on tune splits (max macro-recall at FPR <= 2%) and frozen before the held-out run. Recall/FPR with 95% Wilson intervals; PPV is at an assumed 1% attack prevalence.

Latency (single request, CPU/GPU as run): {"rules": {"p50_ms": 0.22, "p95_ms": 0.35}, "rules+ml": {"p50_ms": 26.55, "p95_ms": 30.07}}
Known limitations
- Rules are English-centred (plus de/es/fr/zh/Hinglish for the main override phrasing); names and addresses need an NER (plug Presidio via
extra_scanners). - General harmful-content moderation is only partly covered by regex; pair with a moderation model or
llm_judgefor the review band. - Synthetic multi-hop sets and SecLists payload lists are proxies; validate on your own traffic before enforcing
block. - Classifiers are third-party models with their own licences/limits; pin
revisioninconfig.ml_models. - Defence in depth: this does not replace least-privilege DB roles, parameterised queries, egress controls or output encoding.
